Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat imprint has, over its first few releases, been steadily building a strong following. With releases from Danny Howells, Marc Marzenit, Guy J, Soundexile and Hernan himself already in locker, its now time for another debut from Alex Dolby & Giorgio Roma.

Neutra EP will be out on Beatport on December 1st.

Born in Ciociaria, Alex was drawn to music after being influenced by the sounds of Sasha, Steve Lawler, Flavio Vecchi and Ricky Montanari. After building his own studio and working hard on production, it was a meeting with fellow countryman Santos, and working together, that lead to development of the Alex Dolby sound.

‘Hazy Way’ and ‘Untitled Valley’ were two early tracks that earned Alex huge support. Further projects alongside Maskio, and remixes for Infusion. Oliver Koletzki and John Aquaviva & Ashtrax further enhanced his reputation. 2008 saw his Psiko Garden album released on Global Album, his superb ‘Kenesai’ single alongside Santos & Timo Maas on Connaisseur and the beautiful ‘Long Beach’/'Cairo’ release on Hope.

Giorgio Roma is a fellow resident of Ciociaria. The resident of the ‘Fiesta Privada’ parties began his career in music began back in 1993.

Having also teamed up with Santos to hone his skills, his 2009 productions ‘Buzzing Jazz’, ‘Every Possible Mistake’, ‘Blond Race’ and ‘2Colors’ have been firm favourites in the sets of Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, Thomas Schumacher, Raresh, Kreon and of course Hernan Cattaneo.

Today’s release see’s the two Italians teaming up for a superb double-header, the ‘Neutra EP’. ‘Like Tears From A Star’ is classic Dolby. A real warmth emanates from the speakers as the lush deep vibes flow. Its laid back groove sweeps us along, and backed by its guitar stabs and delicate vocal sample, evokes memories of sunsets and beach parties.

On the flip we have ‘Viola’. Again its warmth is immediately evident as it wraps its sounds around us. Its heavy bassline and vocal sample, matched with its constant groove make it a superb tool any floor.
