Having eagerly awaited for this new Renaissance Masters by the the king of House, I think I can safely say that the wait was more then worth it. One of the things I have admired about Hernan Cattaneo is his ability to be different with his work & he sure has done that with this latest edition to the collection of Masters series compilations. CD1/Day is a fantastic laid back chillout mix with some really fascinating tracks thrown in there what with Guy J - dust, Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile feat. Tomomi Ukumori - Crisp, Hernan Cattaneo & John Tonks - one 0 five, just a few that really rocked for me.

As for CD2/Night a more upbeat full-on vibe that I was really impressed with. the Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile tracks were out of this world, & Quivver's boom boom & Guy J's Ultra Violet remix was banging. To say what my favourite track on this compilation was would be impossible there all so mind blowingly good. Well yet again you've mastered the Masters Series again Hernan & hell was it an enjoyable listen, well done to yourself & all that accompanied you top marks

I have it !!! ImageImageImage presently blasting out on my sound system. I am so pleased I waited for Cds. :D Well actually I didn't wait as long as I was going to, :D I was going past Profile Music in Greville Street about an hour ago and Steve was working late , so I popped in to see when he would have it. He has it now !!!! Image despite the fact that I have one already on the way ,and another on order, there was no way known I could have walked out of that shop without it .

See the World is every bit as amazing as I thought it would be in the best quality!! As is everything else I have listened to so far. There are sounds here that don't even register on the samples. :D

Happy now :D

Btw. My love is dancing and I was a little worried about the slowing down for Day. Silly me, as if Hernan could make music you couldn't dance too.

I'm every bit as excited as you are Didi and reading your rave review has gotten me even more stoked. I saw Hernan's interview by Renaissance btw where he talked about how this came about and the collaborations he had with his fellow artist friends. Hernan is not only brilliant as shown in the result of Parallel (Day/Night mix and his own productions) but also the depth of his character shines when he expresses his gratitude to those who contributed to Parallel. He considers it a privilege to work with everyone who made it happen. Huge applause Hernan for your brilliant work!!!

^^^ Hope yours arrives soon. I have an embarrassment of riches  The morning after I bought this , my copy from the HMV link arrived and has since gone to a good home :D Friday night I got an email to say the copy from Renaissance was on it's way.

Still haven't stopped listening to CD1!! It just feels like a whole new progression. :D I am going to have to go for a very, very long walk and listen to both at the same time  Too much goodness. :D

You will not be disappointed bro, I've had it a week and haven't had it out of my CD player yet :D CD 1 just has the edge for me. CD 2 is perfect, nothing wrong with it at all but I just love the direction that Hernan has gone with the first CD

OK, recieved it on Thursday. What can I say? It's the best compilation released this year (so far, but I don't think that we'll hear something better than Parallel). Seriously, I'm shocked! CD1 is so good - pure bliss! I'm testing it in car - driving is much more better now :P About CD2 - madness. There's no weak tune on it! I just love Diyo's remix of "Rumblefish", Saiz's "The Rider" or "Teleport" by Master Hernan & Soundexile. As I said - not even one weak tune! Unbelievable! Mr Cattaneo proves that he's unique DJ. Everything he touch turns into gold. Bravo and huge respect! Time for another listening :)

^^ You're brave playing CD 1 while you are driving. :) I use Public transport most of the time and CD1 isn't even safe there, I get so involved I forget where I am, I have actually managed to get off at the wrong stop twice in the last week  And once I was off by miles , took a really long walk to sort that out

Good to see Teleport mentioned , lovely cheeky track :D
