I agree with all the comments above on the producers/dj's been mentioned and I want to thank Hernan for all the support he has given me over the years.

Eternally Grateful,

Gav[Silinder]

The question is, who has he NOT introduced to me/us? Too many to mention and most of them have moved forward and are at the forefront of progressive house this year like Guy J and Henry Saiz.

Resurrection time again for this thread . Just listening to The transition mix [ which I love, but cd1 keeps pulling me back  ] and it reminded me of how Hernan inadvertently introduced me to Robert Babicz. After a certain absolutely amazing night in 2007 at Brown Alley listening and dancing to Hernan till the early hours of the morning. The following day I was just floating on air and the next night just had to go out to share the feelings :D Robert Babicz just happened to be about the only one on.

Btw Robert Babicz - Chordy (Maetrik Remix) A favourite already :D

Oh +1 on that DIDI. I would have never have even thought of listening to stuff by Guy J, Marc Marzenit and Henry Saiz if it wasn't for Hernan. He uncovered so many new names for me, that I absolutely love listening to, Henry Saiz's new E.P. is superb btw

I came to know Guy Gerber's music through Hernan. Guy Gerber played here in January and of course I went to see him. Awesome set. You're more fortunate Didi. Guy J and Henry Saiz haven't toured here. Here's wishing all those people mentioned here will come here and for Hernan to come back before too long.

Newish discoveries through Hernan:

Sezer Uysal
Monaque
Shonky
Fanis & Emanuel Phaz (met both of them in Rhodes when I went to see Hernan play in summer '08)
Till Von Sein
Sebastian Garcia

And I'm sure there will be many more!

like many of you have already said, he opened a door for many producers...

Dousk (florence kills me every time I listen to it. truly a timeless track, you should check the album, DIY)
Martin Garcia (those dark grooves!!!)
Soundexile
Guy J
Henry Saiz
Tarkan
Pole Folder
Quivver

I'm sure that I've left like half out...it will come to me eventually...

Thanks poshvicky. DIY is a vey good album for sure. Florence is also a favorite track of mine. It's so great to have been introduced to these amazing djs/producers via Hernan. I'm fortunate to have met Quivver, Pole Folder, Guy J and Tarkan. I've been a fan of John Graham aka Quivver/Stoneproof since 1998 via the release of GU San Francisco (Sasha). Met Tarkan a few more times since then and he's a super nice guy. He plays here in SF every year.

Another rising star and uber cool guy whose monthly podcast I listen to religiously is Eelke Kleijn. A track he remixed is in Hernan's Sequential Vol. 2 CD. He's about to release a second album, a follow up to his 2007 release, Naturally Artificial.

Yaay it's late. Thanks and G'night all. :(

I'm glad you liked it. It still is one of my all time favorite CDs. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Tarkan (in person), but I have met Pole Folder and Quivver. (always as the obsessed fan that I am)
And I agree with you when you say Eelke Kleijn. He is a great producer and DJ.
oh...and I was also introduced to mr Silinder.
I recently found out I have been listening to his tracks, loved them, but never knew it was him!!!

I had the most amazing night friday dancing to no less than 3 of the Dj/producers Hernan has introduced to me:D

Guy J , King Unique and Marc Marzenit :D All played incredible sets. :D The winner by a whisker was Guy J , I had high expectations of him and he still managed to exceed them! And he really seemed to be enjoying the set as well. Was great !!

And I got to hear Sugar high, a favourite off Yellow, played by King Unique himself :D

A lot of things, but the most important for me, deep music.
