Got there early for Deep Mariano. in fact earlier than I meant to, the phone I rented was showing the wrong time  I was really into his music a couple of years ago, and then he seemed to go a bit minimal for my taste. But this night he was playing a really beautifully paced set , I loved it :D

Danny Howells, I am a big fan of Danny's and his dig deeper set here in Melbourne in January was possibly one of the best ever sets I've heard, I said at the time he seemed to be taking the music a lot more seriously . When he started here I just wasn't quite getting the groove I expect from him, in fact I was saying something like that to someone when all of a sudden it was like a switch was flicked and he was all there !! Was wonderful.!! :D Btw Don't expect track names from me , I know the tracks , just can't remember the names

But if anyone owned the night it was Hernan!! I was told he was different in Argentina , and he is !! A bit rockstar , but that isn't such a bad thing. The interaction between Hernan and his fellow Argentines was just incredible. So much pure raw energy !!

I always say I don't like breakdowns, but what I realised that night is that breakdowns have to be exquisitely timed so we maintain the groove, if we stop moving you have blown it guys :D Hernan's breakdowns are all about that ebb and flow I talk about, although this time more like crashing waves  Just amazing !! For those saying there were tracks they wanted to hear which weren't there , I could say that as well, but what would we have wanted taken out to make room for them.??? There is always limited time and he didn't play a single track that I didn't want to hear!! :D

Were there technical problems when the b2b started?? it just wasn't totally smooth for a couple of tracks. After that it was such a joy to see and listen to two great Djs who obviously have high regard and respect for each other. :) That last track just blew me away, I was so totally tired and it just lifted me off the floor . I think 99 % of the people stayed right until the end !!

Only negatives were the 1/2 hour wait to get my coat back and the hour for a cab!

I have been saying for years I wanted to go to a moonpark. For me this really was a dream come true. !! :D So thank you Mariano, Danny and Hernan for making it such a wonderful night..ImageImageImage

Was great to meet arielus , diegoap and hoff :D

The one thing that would make this whole experience better is that it was recorded and we get to live it again. :D

Great review. It seems that both Hernan & Danny were in fine form.

Really happy you a great time. Just wish I could've been there with you.

The only security issue I had was security guys following me around in stores

My stay was really interesting. When I travel I generally try to do what locals do, I'm not that into touristy things. Although I did end up wandering around a lot looking at some amazing landmarks!! Most of the time I literally just wandered the streets, just looking at the normal shops, buildings , restaurants etc .I even had a coffee shop where they knew me by the time I left  I found where to buy books :) , I bet I'm the only one that checks out hardware stores in foreign countries. I try to melt into the city, and I obviously succeeded to some extent, I had the odd person ask me for directions

What really interested me the most was probably the really wonderful old buildings , some very much in need of repair , but a lot actually being restored. I'm a very keen renovator

If time and money had allowed I would have loved to stay longer, at least until I felt confident enough to venture out without a map  Nearly got there

I saw the videos (thanx everyone for taking the time for uploading them)...and I have to confess I felt a bit jealous.
I hope I can have the pleasure of enjoying a live set here in Cordoba some time soon.
