My friend is going to spend the holidays in Peru, and he wants to know if there are any cool things to do there over Christmas/New Year's.

He'll be in Lima from December 15th-20th, and then again from the 27th until January 4th.

We thought maybe La Huaka had something going on, but we can't find any information..

If any of you guys could give us a hint that would be much appreciated

not too close, since you have to fly to cuzco, then a train, then a bus

you can also check out ¨Mancora¨, a great beach in northern Peru, great surfing.

If you return in february, you can see Hernan play in La Huaka, a nightclub about 90KM south of Lima, I´ve been there twice and you are in for a fantastic night!

Also, Peru has some of the best food and restaurants in latin america, it´s typical peruvian food mixed with japanese influences, simply amazing.

Usually people go out from Lima for NYE. Mancora and Cuzco are the best options for spend NYE holidays, those places are just amazing.
