Tour

India 2010 Blog / Day 4 – Bangalore

Sunday and my last stop for this Indian tour at Club Pebbles in Bangalore, a beautiful city 90 min away by plane from Mumbai, and where like in Pune, the clubs close very early so my set was scheduled at 10pm.

The venue is open air and looks something like a forest, with trees all around and also since it was full moon it looked really nice to be outside with almost no artificial lights around.
Indian dj and producer Vinayaka was the opener and he did a top job playing deep and groovy beats so everything was looking great for me to start, but as soon as I looked at the mixer i realized that there were some problems with the way the Pioneer CDJs were connected, and for some reason it took like half hour to get everything the right way.
Once that got solved, I had only two hrs left to play so i went straight to the point playing not so deep, but there was no time to build up things again.
The crowd was a bit younger so they reacted really well especially to the more uptempo stuff.
As usual in this trip, all sets seemed short and always got to stop when things are at the peak.
Tune of the night: Henry’s mix of Ian O’Donovan on bedrock, not new, but still rocking all dancefloors around the world.
